Edible Christmas Table Decorations - Easy To Make Fruit And Sweet Plates

Recently I had so much fun with my 3 year old daughter making these wonderful edible Christmas table decorations.

The first pictured here, is a fruit platter made with seasonal fruit and skewers.

We used berries, grapes, and a selection of melons, which we cut out with Christmas shaped cookie cutters and melon ballers.

We thread them onto bamboo skewers and arranged them into a cut and hollowed mellon filled with a large broccoli florette, so they stood in place and appeared to be like a floral arrangement!  What a great edible table decoration it turned out to be for our family Christmas celebration!

We also made this meringue treat edible table decoration.  Which is great for birthdays and Christmas!

I purchased meringues in two different sizes.  The large one's decorate our tree, and the smaller one's fill in the gaps.  We even dusted it with gold edible glitter!

This table decoration has a cardboard cone base.  Just made out of cardboard and stuck into a cone shape.

I then melted chocolate which we dipped the meringues into to stick them onto our masterpiece!

While not healthy, this one, along with our fruit platter was so much fun to make and was also a talking point at our family celebration!

So easy to make and such a stunning result!
